Our promise to our players ========================== On this MUD, we will always strive to do our best to treat our players as fairly as possible. No matter what this entails, no matter what it may mean tolerating in terms of personal issues, players on ElvenMUD will know that they are being treated fairly under the policy. This is our highest law, and it applies to all players. Personal issues will not ever factor into policy/administrative decisions. Ever. In particular, a few examples: - No player on ElvenMUD will be exoed or otherwise forcibly removed from the game over a personal issue/conflict. Violations of this policy will be dealt with in an extreme fashion by the Administration. Some MUDs may tolerate such abuse of their players, but we here at ElvenMUD will *not*. - No player on ElvenMUD will ever be zapped, deleted, or killed by an immortal as the result of a personal issue/argument. Violations of this policy will result in character deletions and possible host banning for the offending party. Again, other MUDs tolerate such activities from their immortals. We here at ElvenMUD find such actions reprehensible, disgusting, unethical, etc.. and we will not, under any circumstances, tolerate such actions here. - No player on ElvenMUD will ever receive undue help/assistance due to a personal relationship with an immortal. Said undue assistance will be dealt with under the MUD's policy on cheating. If you feel you are being treated unfairly, mail a Power immediately! |
